Our second chef coming from Italy and his favourite way of making french fries, meatballs and other dishes is using Air Fryers. His name is Giovanni and he strongly believes that cooking with the best airfryers (migliori friggitrice ad aria in Italian) like Philips, ariete, moulinex, makes anyone healthier. That's what he has to say (he doesn't speak English, sorry, only in Italian! :) ):

Rispetto alla frittura profonda, la friggitrice ad aria è un'alternativa più salutare: l'utilizzo della cottura a convezione anziché dell'olio significa che il cibo finito contiene meno grassi e quindi meno calorie. Tuttavia, la friggitrice ad aria ha alcuni aspetti negativi, quindi dovrebbe essere considerata come parte di una dieta equilibrata.

Per quanto riguarda le ricette, la friggitrice ad aria è uno strumento eccellente non solo per preparare i piatti tradizionali preferiti, ma anche per sperimentare. L'umile cavolo è un ottimo punto di partenza.
